13 years ago, a giant floating fortress appeared 10 kilometers in the sky, and an evil army called the “Kaijin” started attacking humanity. These Kaijin have regenerative powers, making them effectively immortal and posing a real threat to humanity.

But here’s the twist: our hero isn’t a hero at all. Instead, they’re a lowly and anonymous mob member who’s fed up with being mocked and murdered by the Kaijin every week during staged battles for propagandistic live shows. It’s a deconstructive parody of the Power Rangers genre, turning the usual hero-villain dynamic on its head. Think of it as an anime version of “The Boys”
